AI clipping studio

One long video. Clips ready to post.

Upload a recording. Snipster transcribes it, finds the strongest moments, cuts on natural pauses, adds captions in the style you choose, and exports MP4s for TikTok, Shorts and Reels.

  • Free plan: 10 minutes of video a month, no card.
  • You upload your own recordings. Snipster doesn’t download videos from other sites.
  • Scores explain themselves, and nothing here promises views.

One-click looks

Start from a look. Make it yours.

Pick a format and Snipster sets the headline, caption style and framing. Change anything afterwards, then save the result as your own look. These are common short-form formats, not a promise of views.

  • Story headline

A headline bar on top and big word-by-word captions.

  • Hook opener

A boxed hook for the first three seconds.

  • Podcast clip

Outlined title and karaoke captions over a conversation.

  • Split-screen

Your video over background footage you upload.

  • Story video

No recording: a script, an AI voice and your own footage.

Illustrations of the editor’s looks, not real results.

How it works

From recording to posted clip in four steps.

Minimal setup. “Make my clips for me” renders up to five of the best automatically; you can open any of them afterwards.

  1. 01

    Upload

Drop an MP4 or MOV, or paste a Drive or Dropbox link. It’s checked before anything is processed.

  2. 02

    AI finds the moments

A timestamped transcript is read for strong openings, stories and endings. Each moment is ranked with the reasons shown, and cuts snap to real pauses.

  3. 03

    Style & edit

Pick a look, add a headline, captions, split-screen, B-roll, music or a voiceover, and trim. The preview matches the export.

  4. 04

    Export

Render one clip or a batch. Each MP4 is decoded and checked before it’s marked done, and you can download the SRT too.

What you get

Everything between the recording and the post.

  • Cuts that land on pauses

Clip boundaries snap to measured silences and sentence ends, so clips don’t start mid-word or stop mid-thought.

  • Moments, with reasons

Each candidate shows why it was picked and what’s weak about it. Scores are heuristics, not predictions.

  • Headlines and captions

A headline on top, word-by-word captions with fade, pop and slide, full control over font, colour and position, drawn the same in preview and export.

  • One-click looks

Story headline, hook opener, podcast clip, split-screen. Save your own as a look and reuse it on every clip.

  • Story videos

No recording needed: write a script, pick an AI voice and a background clip of yours, and get a captioned vertical video.

  • Facecam on top for streamers

Stack your camera and your gameplay from the same recording in one vertical frame, with boxes you drag over each. Works for streams and YouTube videos with a camera overlay.

  • Choose the kind of clips

Best overall, funny and reactions, hype, stories, tips and insights, or hot takes. Pick one and the moments are re-ranked for it, with the reasons shown.

  • Zoom in on reactions

Snipster measures loud audio bursts, marks the moments that contain them, and can punch your camera in at each one. The gameplay half can also follow the action. It can’t judge what’s funny, so you stay in charge.

  • Split-screen with your footage

Your clip on top and your own background footage below. Bring gameplay, b-roll loops or anything you have the rights to.

  • B-roll inserts

Cut away to your clips or images at chosen moments while the speaker keeps talking.

  • Music that ducks under speech

Add your own track; it loops, fades out, and lowers when someone speaks.

  • AI voiceover

Type a script, pick a voice, and the captions follow the generated audio. Synthetic voices may need disclosure on some platforms.

  • Any frame, no stretching

9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 with crop or blurred-background fit and a focus point. An optional “Follow the action” setting pans the crop to motion (beta).

  • Sharp 1080p exports

Full 1080×1920 frames, checked after rendering. Upscaling can’t add detail the source doesn’t have, so start from good footage.

  • Batch and library

Queue several clips at once, keep every project in one place, duplicate and re-style clips, and download MP4 and SRT.

Why Snipster

Picks moments for your audience, and shows its work.

Most clippers pick moments from the words alone. Snipster can also weigh them against your own TikTok analytics, if you add them. The clipping works fully without that.

  1. 01

    Optional personalisation

Upload your analytics and moments are ranked against what has worked for your account. Without them, ranking uses the transcript and measured audio, and clips are labelled “not personalised”.

  2. 02

    Honest scores

Evidence from your files, measurements from the audio and guesses from the wording are labelled separately. Nothing here promises views, virality or income.

  3. 03

    Exports are verified

Every render is decoded and checked for size, length and audio before it’s marked done. A failed render isn’t charged and keeps your settings.

  4. 04

    Your files stay yours

Uploads are private to your account, exports expire on a schedule by plan, and you can delete a project and its files at any time.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What is Snipster?

An AI clipping studio. You upload a long recording; it transcribes it, finds and ranks the strongest moments, and helps you turn them into captioned, vertical MP4s with a real editor. It can also use your TikTok analytics to personalise which moments it prefers, but that’s optional.

How does it pick moments?

It reads a timestamped transcript for strong openings, stories, emotional wording and satisfying endings, snaps cuts to measured pauses in the audio, and flags clips that lean on missing context. Every pick shows its reasons and weaknesses. These are heuristics, not predictions of how a clip will perform.

Does Snipster guarantee viral videos?

No. Nothing here promises views, virality, income or Creator Rewards payouts. Scores are estimates built from the evidence available, and outcomes after you post are uncertain.

What can I upload?

MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV recordings you own or have the rights to. Limits depend on your plan (the free plan takes videos up to 15 minutes). Snipster doesn’t download videos from YouTube or other sites.

Can I edit a clip, or is it all automatic?

Both. “Make my clips for me” renders up to five of the best automatically. Open any clip to trim, reframe, restyle captions, fix the transcript, add split-screen footage, B-roll, music or an AI voiceover, then re-export.

What does the free plan include?

10 minutes of video a month (up to 15 minutes each), AI-picked moments, captions and a 9:16 export with a snipster.dev watermark across the centre, plus one analytics analysis. No card, no time limit. Paid plans remove the watermark and raise limits.

Are the captions accurate?

They come from a speech-to-text provider with word-level timestamps, and you can correct any line before exporting. Accuracy depends on the audio and language, so check them. Snipster doesn’t label speakers.

Does it track faces or subjects for vertical crops?

Not faces. You choose the focus point and can drag the crop, or fit the whole picture on a blurred background. There’s also an optional “Follow the action” setting (beta) that pans the crop to where the picture moves. It tracks motion, so it suits one speaker; with several people it follows whoever moves most.

Where do the split-screen footage and music come from?

You upload them. Snipster doesn’t include third-party gameplay, footage or music, so you’re responsible for having the rights to what you add. AI voiceovers are synthetic; some platforms ask you to disclose that.

What about the analytics side?

You can upload TikTok analytics (screenshots, PDFs or CSV — up to 15 files of 12 MB each per analysis, 8 on the free plan). Values go through a review step before anything is analysed, and we haven’t published an accuracy figure for screenshot reading. Trend signals come from public web data, not TikTok’s own trend data.

How does pricing work?

A free plan and three paid plans, billed monthly or yearly with two months free, through Stripe. Limits are minutes of source video, minutes rendered, batch size, storage and how long exports are kept. The plans above are the current ones.
