Terms of Service

1. What Snipster does

Snipster is an AI-assisted video clipping tool. You upload a recording; it transcribes the audio, suggests and ranks moments, and lets you edit and export short clips with captions, headlines, backgrounds, music and AI voiceover. It can also analyse TikTok analytics you upload (“Insights”). Features and limits depend on your plan and may change.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher. Give accurate details, keep your password secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account unless your plan says otherwise.

3. Your content and rights

• You own your content. Videos, audio, images, transcripts and exports you create remain yours. You give us a limited licence to host, process, transform and display them solely to provide the service to you (including sending audio to our transcription and voice providers).
• You must have the rights. Upload only material you own or are licensed to use, including any background footage, B-roll and music you add. Snipster does not supply third-party footage or music. You are responsible for copyright and for complying with the platforms where you post.
• No downloading from other sites. Snipster does not download videos from YouTube, TikTok or similar sites, and you must not use it to circumvent their terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Snipster to: upload unlawful content, content that sexualises minors, or content that infringes others’ rights; harass, defraud or impersonate people; generate deceptive synthetic media presented as real; attempt to access other users’ data; probe or overload our systems; resell the service without permission; or evade plan limits. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. AI output

Transcripts, moment rankings, titles, scripts and voiceovers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Check them before you publish. Rankings are estimates of promising moments; Snipster does not predict or guarantee views, virality, followers, income or any platform reward. AI voices are synthetic and should be disclosed where a platform or law requires it.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes may be added where required.
• You can cancel at any time from Plan & usage or Stripe’s billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals. See our Refund Policy.
• Each plan has monthly limits (source minutes, render minutes, storage and similar). Unused minutes do not roll over except where we say so. Referral bonus minutes expire as described when granted.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it remains unpaid, move your account to the Free plan.
• We may change prices or plans with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

7. Storage and deletion

Exports are kept for the number of days your plan states and then deleted; projects are removed after a period of inactivity. Download what you need. You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings. See the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We work to keep Snipster available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Processing can be delayed or fail; failed jobs are not charged against your minutes. We may change, suspend or retire features.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Snipster is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or loss of audience, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Ending this agreement

You may stop using Snipster at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or the law, or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, liability and disputes) will survive.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they apply. Continued use after the effective date means you accept them. Questions: our contact page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Snipster’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
