Turn long streams into vertical clips with your facecam on top

Upload a recording of your own stream or gameplay video. Snipster ranks moments from the transcript and audio, then restacks the picture for vertical: your facecam on top, your gameplay below.

Free plan: 10 minutes of video a month, no card. Best on: Creator or Pro.

What you get

  • Find moments in hours of footage

Long recordings are transcribed and ranked, so you start from a shortlist instead of scrubbing the timeline.

  • Facecam on top, gameplay below

Draw a box around your camera and another around the gameplay. Snipster stacks them in one vertical frame, and the preview matches the export exactly.

  • Or split-screen with other footage

Prefer your reaction over a different background? Put your clip on top and footage you upload below.

  • Reaction moments surfaced

Snipster measures sudden loud bursts in the audio (laughter, shouting, hype) and marks the moments that contain them, with the reason. It can’t tell what is actually funny, so you check each one.

  • Zoom in on the reaction

Turn on automatic zooms and your camera smoothly punches in at each detected reaction, then eases back. You can move, add or remove any zoom.

  • Captions that follow the speech

Word-by-word highlight, adjustable size, position and colours.

How it works

  1. 1Upload your own stream recording (Snipster doesn’t download VODs from other sites).
  2. 2Review the ranked moments (look for the reaction badge) and trim the ones you want.
  3. 3Apply the Streamer look, drag the boxes over your camera and gameplay, and export.

Questions

Can it find the funny moments?

It finds reaction moments: sudden loud bursts in the audio such as laughter, shouting or hype, plus laughter and excitement words in the transcript. It marks them and says why, but it can’t judge humour, so treat them as strong candidates to check yourself.

Does it find my facecam automatically?

Not yet. You draw a box around the camera once in the editor, and it uses that box for the whole clip. If your camera moves between scenes, adjust the box for each clip.

Does it work with Twitch or YouTube VOD links?

No. Export or download your own recording first, then upload it or share a Drive or Dropbox link. Snipster doesn’t fetch videos from streaming sites.

Where does the background footage come from?

You upload it. Snipster doesn’t include third-party gameplay or music, so use footage you have the rights to.

Try it on a real recording

Free to start. Snipster ranks promising moments; it can’t promise views.
